In February we will focus on the Hospitality sector. This week Dom met with Lisa Barnes from The Bayshill Inn
Lisa took over the Bayshill Inn pub back in 2014 and has over time established a friendly atmosphere, a reputation for great food and expanded the selection of drinks.
Located in the heart of Cheltenham, The Bayshill Inn is especially known around Cheltenham for hosting entertainment featuring regular weekly live bands, parties, quiz nights along with the occasional wedding through the year. Lisa has just redeveloped their upstairs space into a fully operating function room is delighted that this has seen regular bookings for conferences and other meetings.
One of the challenges that Lisa has met is making sure the Bayshill stands out from the various other amazing Public Houses around Gloucestershire. She therefore built up a variety of regular entertainment which occurs over the year.
Hosting various events does however have its worries, not least of which is what happens if a member of the public suffers an injury whilst at the event, this can include an allergic reaction to a specific ingredient.
